Whitehorse Primary School relocated to magnificent purpose built facilities in landscaped grounds in 2012. The facility was specifically designed and built for education in the 21st Century. Our learning spaces are highly flexible, light, spacious, and feature state-of-the-art technology.
The school was designed by international architects, the Buchan Group. The award-winning firm were responsible for the re-development of Myer Melbourne and the West Mall of Chadstone Shopping Centre.
The sweeping single-level school design includes sustainable features such as solar lighting, rainwater harvesting, and natural air ventilation. Facilities include a large art room and kiln, music room, gymnasium with sprung floor and performing arts centre with an door/outdoor stage. The Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program benefits from a well-appointed kitchen, which opens out to a productive kitchen garden.
